Jellicoe Station Inn B&B
Princeton, British Columbia, Canada
Welcome! We look forward to your visit. Experience the magic of this special place, tucked into a magnificent mountain wilderness. The Jellicoe Station Inn is a place to recharge and unwind in the tranquility of nature. The resort perches on a cliff against a steep mountainside, surrounded by pine forest on three sides. It juts out over an abyss of views both pastoral and wild. Updrafts sweep Redwinged hawks past the patios. The deer tiptoe through at dawn.
The dream in progress of Les and Darleen Sirokai, this 4,000 sq ft log retreat has been built with an artful eye. Smooth granite stone floors draw the eye through to walls of glass, exposing the ever present views, mountains and forest, Chain Lake glistening in the valley below.
The heart of the Jellicoe is the kitchen, where Darleen conjures up multi course meals. Her breakfasts are legendary, and the dining table set for ten brings people together for wonderful meals, generously seasoned with laughter.
In the main house, 3 cozy bedrooms await the guests. There is a games room complete with pool table, fireplace and big screen TV. There are numerous comfortable seating areas to visit with friends or indulge in a little private reading time. The outside decks are invitingly furnished, encouraging lingering conversation over a glass or two of wine. To complete your retreat into pure relaxation, a spa with shower, sauna and hot tub is just a few steps away.
Located near Princeton, BC, the B&B is in the heart of the Three Lakes Recreation area. The Trans-Canada Trail runs through part of the 49 wooded acres, criss-crossed with trails for hiking or biking. The half way point location makes it a popular break for bicyclists traveling to Okanagan. It’s also a favorite overnight stop for vacationers as part of a horseback Inn to Inn ride.
The Jellicoe also has "The Cottage at the Jellicoe" (fully contained and ideal for a family) as well as 3 cozy cabins for rent, with a fully stocked kitchen in the cliff-side gazebo.
